Cuts Lock Time By 50% In GLOCKS~

Lightweight Titanium Striker reduces lock time by a minimum of 50% for a faster shot and improved accuracy. Drops in with no gunsmithing and no permanent alterations to the firearm required. CNC machined from titanium and hardened for long lasting performance. Lightweight Steel Striker is 32% lighter than factory part, heat treated for exceptional strength and performance with hot loads. Coated with Kolene Nutride for greater lubricity and corrosion resistance. All models include Wolff striker spring.

SPECS: Solid titanium, TiN coated, gold, heat treated. Small Frame fits GLOCK 9mm/.40 S&W. Steel Striker, EDT150 tool steel, heat treated to Rc 70.

El Striker de Titanio Ligero reduce el tiempo de cierre en un mínimo del 50% para un disparo más rápido y una precisión mejorada. Se instala fácilmente sin necesidad de armería ni alteraciones permanentes en el arma. Mecanizado CNC a partir de titanio y endurecido para un rendimiento duradero. El Striker de Acero Ligero es un 32% más ligero que la pieza de fábrica, tratado térmicamente para una resistencia excepcional y rendimiento con cargas potentes. Recubierto con Kolene Nutride para una mayor lubricidad y resistencia a la corrosión. Todos los modelos incluyen muelle de striker Wolff.

ESPECIFICACIONES: Titanio sólido, recubierto de TiN, dorado, tratado térmicamente. Para armazón pequeño compatible con GLOCK 9mm/.40 S&W. Striker de acero, acero para herramientas EDT150, tratado térmicamente hasta Rc 70.

Not a drop in, but works once fitted (10/10/2010)

If you're not prepared to spend an hour or more with a stone and polishing wheel, this isn't for you. Out of curiosity, I found it wouldn't drop in half the Glocks I put it in. In the one I finally fitted it to, it originally increased the trigger pull weight to a gritty 6 lbs from snappy 3 lbs with factory striker. After fitting, it's about 3 lbs again. It's definitely less mass than the factory striker, and with lighter springs it provides reliable ignition.

Iâved use the âSteelâ striker in (4) 3rd Gen guns and have had great sucess. Teamed with a fitted trigger bar and firing pin block, this striker makes a good improvement over the factory MIM part.

What it does:lighter striker=faster speed.Because it comes w/lighter Wollf spring to help reduce trigger pull,this pair of parts still hits primers with as much force as stock, maybe more.For sake of comparison,stock striker & spring is a 230grn bullet moving @ 800fps..This pair of parts is represented by a 180grn bullet @ 1180fps.Both are .45acp, but the lighter bullet actually carries more ft.lbs. of impact force! The lighter rate,trigger friendly spring is able to strike and ignite primers with as much force as the much heavier stock striker and spring.It also quiets and reduces dry-fire vibrations.T.P.D.A. strongly recommends using a stiffer replacement trigger spring (the 30% by Glokworx is perfect)with this product.Also look at the Lightning Strike safety plunger and a 3.5lb. connector for a full job. If you have any $ left, the trigger itself can be replaced. Lightning Strike makes a nice one. Lone Wolf makes one with a built in 'safe/fire' button.
PS-to break down stock striker in order to re-use plastics.Relieve spring pressure on bullet striking end,the small black plastic bushing is 2 piece and sandwiches pin.
PSS-Looks as if should be long-lasting if you don't constantly dry-fire.

Noticable difference! (28/02/2013)

Noticable difference in dry fire, weight, and striking of primer. Vibrations during dry fire with stock striker are abundant, but with this firing pin you will notice the difference immediately (for the everyday intermediate to advanced shooter). Weight is also cut dramatically from the stock to this aftermarket piece. I use this in my glock 21SF and it fits perfectly.

Really makes a difference in the Glock trigger system especially when used with the corresponding Lightning Strike Titanium Safety Plunger 642-102-021 and Semi Auto Aluminum Trigger 642-103-001.
