Not too great(06/03/2013)
This was my first mag loader purchase, but I'm not that impressed. This is made of cheap plastic and doesn't load that well, could almost load my mags just as fast by hand. It starts fine but seems to stick half way, requiring me to change angles. Only comes with 4 stripper clips as well. This was a partial order I received and freight was almost $18.00. I should have requested the order ship complete but had mags on order as well and didn't want to risk not getting those. So-so product overall.
does the job(10/05/2014)
This item accomplishes it's intended purpose, to speed-load an AR mag. It will accept metal strip clips, which for me is great because I have quite a bit of such ammo. You could also use the provided plastic strip clips, but honestly, I see little point there, as you could simply just drop rounds into the loader itself and then push them all in at once. The load is a rather thin plastic, so not for sure how long it would hold up. But for this price, I think it's fine.
