Cuts Down On Fouling; Increases Barrel Life

Easy-to-apply paste treats the inside of your rifle's barrel, greatly reduces friction for minimum fouling, faster, easier cleanup and longer barrel life. Synthetic-base formula is specifically engineered to disperse and absorb quickly into any metal surface with minimum rubbing; coats and cures in just minutes. Moly Bore Paste won't oxidize on firing so your bore shrugs off lead, copper and carbon buildup. Because Moly Bore Paste dries and cures quickly it can be used as a treatment for lubrication and protection of all gun and metal surfaces. After curing, it won't attract lint or dirt; great for protecting carry pistols and stored firearms.

I use this product in my 22 rimfire when shooting subsonic bullets that are not copper coated and have almost no lead on the first patch through. I apply it with a bore mop after cleaning and give the barrel one quick wipe before the next time I go to the range. I don't know how it affects accuracy, but clean-up is a breeze.

Great Stuff -Keep it off of your hands (07/02/2010)

Like all moly based greases, this material will stain your hands and anything else it touches. Other than that, it is effective and useful. I followed the directions exactly on a brand new Remington 700 SPS varmint rifle and shot tight groups right away. However, today I bought thin nitrile black gloves to apply this material in the future. I should have known better as I had experience with moly-based auto greases. Moly finds any dead skin or finger nails and stays put. Shoot with it but don't touch it.

makes an old rifle shine (09/11/2010)

I was loaned this product for an SKS that I had just cleaned cosmoline off of. After the first time at the range to see how it shot, my friend loaned me this stuff that he swore by. I did what it recommended on the container, except that I heated the barrel up in my oven on low heat. using latex gloves I coated a patch with the stuff (IT IS MESSY AND CAN GET EVERYWHERE, USE OVER NEWSPAPERS AND USE GLOVES). I passed the patch thru the barrel until I started to feel the patch drag. I let it sit for a bit and then used numerous clean patches one after the other until they came out clean. Before using the bore paste, my barrel was dull in appearance, afterward it gleamed like it was chrome lined. I plan on using it on each of my firearms as I get them to the range.

More than a bore cleaner! (11/06/2011)

This cleaner is a good item to use on your bolts or anywhere there is threads. It will keep the threads tuned up practically for life. Great idea on a new build, but will still protect on well used weapons. You will be glad the next time you take down your gun. Semi-secret of pro gunsmiths around the world.
