Premium, No-Fail Features Plus Additional Rounds

Built to the very highest standards for the no-fail performance competitive and self-defense shooters demand. Feed lips are roll-formed and polished, not die cut, for added strength, and Chip’s follower design provides flawless feeding with semi-wadcutters and hollow points. Powerful spring of proprietary, heat-treated Rocket Wire further ensures reliable feeding, even when left fully loaded and seated in a pistol for extended periods. Removable plastic base pad with full, front-to-back engagement, is built to withstand continual use, and numbered witness holes on both sides of the body provide a fast, visible round count. Long-body 10-round model has base pad that wraps around exposed portion of magazine that extends beyond mag well.

Un potente resorte de Rocket Wire tratado térmicamente y de propiedad exclusiva asegura además una alimentación fiable, incluso cuando se deja completamente cargado y colocado en una pistola durante períodos prolongados. La base de plástico extraíble, con un enganche completo de adelante hacia atrás, está construida para soportar un uso continuo, y los orificios testigo numerados en ambos lados del cuerpo ofrecen un conteo rápido y visible de las rondas. El modelo de cuerpo largo de 10 rondas tiene una base que envuelve la porción expuesta del cargador que se extiende más allá del pozo del cargador.

mccormick custom 10 round clip for 1911 (04/02/2010)

i bought 2 of the clips at a local gun shop around my area and i love them. they make the gun look awsome. i cant wait to finish up making my model 1911 look the way i want and these clips were the first. they are easy to load and do not allow the round to jam in the clip of the barrel. a must have item for your 1911.

The best for competition (09/04/2010)

I use my McCormick magazines when I compete in USPSA matches in limit 10 division. I have never had problem with them, because, when they are dirty from dust after being dropped for a fast reload I clean them between shooting the next stage. Sometimes, I just shoot the whole match without cleaning my magazines and they work fine!

kimber sensitive or insensitive (09/08/2010)

wilsons 10 rd mags work better in most kimbers,, it seems that the followers in the CMC are lower and do not meet the barrel as well as Wilsons,
And yes I did replace the followers and the springs,, they just dont work well in a kimber,, and I have 5 ,,45acp 1911's

Nicely built - substantial, however - the magazine follower tended to tip in use jamming the weapon.

I made some new followers for my two mags and all was OK but these are of questionable value out of the box new.

Feeding issues (18/03/2011)

Don't know if I got a bad mag or what but have had lots of feeding issues with this one. The magazine isn't feeding the round fast enough to keep up with the slide on my Kimber Pro Carry II. Instead, the slide noses the round in a downward angle in the magazine, causing the feeding issue. Happens every other round and only happens with this particular mag.

Got this mag in the mail, loaded 10 rounds in it went to the range, racked the slide and shot all 10 rounds flawlessly!! Just to be sure, did it 3 times, weather slow or rapid fire worked perfectly!!

Great addition to my carry (30/05/2011)

I like it, no complaints here, I took it the range and put about 300 rounds through it with no malfunctions at all. I really like the fact that it increases my carry's initial mag. Solid construction and a trusted name to back it. Read some of the other reviews stating that it didn't function well in their 1911s, I have a Pro Carry Kimber, like I said no issues with it; then again different guns favor different items

Great magazine (02/03/2012)

Very good quality, the construction, the spring, and the follower. Whenever I keep my 1911 in the car I load one of these in addition to carrying it during the colder months when it's easier to conceal. 10 + 1 in a 1911, you can't beat that.

Well, I love Chip stuff. Unfortunatly, this isnt one I care to recomend to my customers at all. With the follower tipping on the last round jamming the weapon, you might as well just load an 8 rounder and top it off. However, if you switch out followers, this thing runs great. But you shouldnt have to switch followers.

Bought for my full size Springfield 1911, the follower allows the next round to nose down and jam up. 30 dollar piece of junk.
