The progressive nose geometry allows for deep, straight penetration while creating a permanent wound cavity diameter exceeding that of most expanding bullets. To top it off, the bullet is solid copper and is able to overcome barriers to penetration, is environmentally friendly and VERY target unfriendly. Penetrating barriers such as drywall or heavy clothing prior to impacting the intended target doesn’t have the potentially negative effect on the Xtreme Defense that it does to conventional hollow point bullets. The magic happens with the nose design where the Fluid Transfer’s radial flutes force the hydraulic energy inward and then as the energy is restricted, it accelerates outward creating high pressure spikes severely damaging surrounding tissue. This very rapid increase in fluid flow creates cavitation and massive tissue damage away from the projectile equivalent to those of the best hollow points on the market. This results in a permanent wound cavity that is two to four times greater than what a flat or round nose bullet generates and often larger than traditional or solid copper expanding bullets.

La geometría progresiva de la punta permite una penetración profunda y recta, creando un diámetro de cavidad de herida permanente que supera al de la mayoría de las balas expansivas. Además, la bala está hecha de cobre sólido, lo que le permite superar barreras de penetración, ser ecológica y, lo más importante, ser MUY hostil para el objetivo.
La penetración a través de barreras como paneles de yeso o ropa pesada antes de impactar el objetivo no tiene el efecto negativo potencial en el Xtreme Defense que sí tienen las balas huecas convencionales.
La magia ocurre con el diseño de la punta, donde los flautas radiales de la Transferencia de Fluido fuerzan la energía hidráulica hacia adentro y, a medida que la energía se restringe, acelera hacia afuera creando picos de alta presión que dañan gravemente el tejido circundante.
Este aumento muy rápido en el flujo de fluidos crea cavitación y un daño masivo en el tejido alejado del proyectil, equivalente al de las mejores balas huecas del mercado.
