The Magnesium Hyper-Light KeyMod Handguard from V Seven Weapon Systems is constructed with blend of aluminum and magnesium alloys, resulting in a 30% weight reduction over ordinary all-aluminum handguards. V Seven uses a plasma deposition finishing process that gives each Magnesium Hyper-Light KeyMod Handguard a tough, ceramic-like coating with wear resistance far superior to traditional anodizing. The weight-saving extends to the included barrel nut, which is machined from 7068 aluminum alloy that’s light yet does not sacrifice strength. Light, light, LIGHT! 15" handguard weight only 5.4 oz. Slim: 1.5" O.D. (1.3" I.D.) Free-floats the barrel Three integral QD sling swivel sockets Comes with barrel nut, wrench, and all necessary mounting hardware V Seven’s Magnesium Hyper-Light KeyMod Handguards have a full-length MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail on top and three rows of KeyMod slots to ensure plenty of room for mounting accessories exactly where you need them.
