Introducing the Brownells Offset Buffer Retainer - a solution designed to enhance the reliability and longevity of your AR-15's performance during the firing cycle. A common issue for AR-15 builds is a gap between the bolt carrier and recoil buffer. If you’ve ever seen “chatter” marks on a buffer, that is indication there is a gap when the firearm is assembled. This problematic gap between the carrier and buffer leads to the buffer retainer impacted the buffer on every firing cycle, making the chatter marks. This may also mean the bolt carrier is travelling without spring resistance for a short period, or is not getting the full force of the spring to go into battery or to prevent bolt bounce. This “offset” buffer retainer offsets the retention tab forward, allowing the recoil buffer to protrude further forward into the receiver, making full contact with the bolt carrier. Installation is simple, with it being installed much like a standard buffer retainer. The recoil buffer will orient the buffer retainer in the forward position. Machined from 4130 steel and finished with a black oxide finish, the offset buffer retainer will resist corrosion and hold up to intense firing cycles.

BROWNELLS AR-15 OFFSET BUFFER RETAINER Te presentamos el Brownells Offset Buffer Retainer, una solución diseñada para mejorar la fiabilidad y durabilidad del rendimiento de tu AR-15 durante el ciclo de disparo. Un problema común en las construcciones de AR-15 es un espacio entre el portador del cerrojo y el amortiguador de retroceso. Si alguna vez has visto marcas de "chatter" en un amortiguador, eso indica que hay un espacio cuando el arma está ensamblada. Este espacio problemático entre el portador y el amortiguador resulta en que el retenedor del amortiguador impacta el amortiguador en cada ciclo de disparo, creando las marcas de chatter. Esto también puede significar que el portador del cerrojo se desplaza sin la resistencia del resorte por un corto período, o no recibe la fuerza completa del resorte para entrar en batería o para prevenir el rebote del cerrojo.
