Wound Tight For Hard Use

Industrial strength cotton swabs are wound tight to withstand serious gun cleaning. Makes easy work when cleaning and lubricating barrel chambers, bores, bolt lugs, and numerous other jobs. Low lint design doesn t leave behind fibers when applying stock finish. Round swabs with wooden dowel handle and round cotton head on one end are perfect for touch-up bluing without creating a mess. Pointed swabs provide easy access to corners and other hard to reach areas. Stiff, polypropylene handle provides maximum flexability without breaking. Available in small and large diameter.

Perfect for M-4/M-16 weapons! (05/07/2009)

I got a bunch of these pointed swabs from a buddy of mine at the range and I was blown away. I honestly was a little skeptical until I used them!

They got in all the tight spots on my M-4 and really made my job cleaning 1000 times easier. Wish I had these in the service. Great product.

I use these to reach the nooks and cranies and love them. The wooden sticks make applying enough pressure to get the crud easy.

My fault for not going into the âspecsâ on this, but nowhere in the description was the fact that these are only 3 inches long. Have always used the 6 inch ones as they are more versatile to get into hard to reach areas like inside magazines, long chambers, etc. These are well made, just too short for a lot of areas. Will look past the description and go to the specs next time. Overall, a good, but short, product and well made to clean easy to reach areas.

I would never go back to Q-Tips again! (25/07/2009)

After trying these swabs, I would never go back to using normal loose wound Q-tips. They work great on the bolt carrier and other places you need a small pointed cleaning tool to remove powder fouling and other grit. I haven't found another swab that works so well. Once you try them you will be hooked!

Not impressed (09/11/2009)

They do clean well, but for the money, Q-tips work just as good if not better! These are only one sided, when at least you get two sides with Q-tips, and a lot more of them for less money! The sticks seem to break easily too!

I'm on my second pack of these and think they are great. Yes, they are a little flimsy but they reach where others can't. I also like that the swab is tightly formed which greatly reduces the amount of fibers behind. I highly recommend these and although they seem pricey remember that these are used sparingly since they are only for tight places.

These will get into places that your brushes won't. They are just about as good as using dental picks for getting into those nooks and crannies but they don't scratch anything. Besides cleaning they will also lube those same areas. Yep, I DO like these things.

best uses: weapons cleaning but not limited to that.
