Geissele Nanoweapon (also known as Picatinny DSL) is a family of Durable Solid Lubricant coatings which was developed by ARDEC. It is available exclusively from Geissele Automatics. Geissele continued the development of Picatinny DSL so that its level of corrosion, wear and abrasion resistance is currently unmatched among firearm coatings. Nanoweapon is applied at low temperatures so that the underlying metallurgy of the part is non effected by the application process. Geissele’s coating also has a surface hardness roughly equivalent to synthetic diamond. This makes Geissele Nanoweapon harder than sand, easily rejecting carbon and making cleaning a breeze, on top of allowing the firearm to operate normally with less lubrication. NOTE: Geissele triggers are designed for mil-spec AR15/M4 carbine rifles. Geissele AR15 triggers are not compatible with the Sig MPX/MCX weapons or Pistol Caliber Carbine AR15/M4 variants. ¿Qué es el Geissele Nanoweapon?
El Geissele Nanoweapon (también conocido como Picatinny DSL) es una familia de recubrimientos de lubricante sólido duradero, desarrollado por ARDEC y disponible exclusivamente en Geissele Automatics. Este recubrimiento proporciona una resistencia a la corrosión, desgaste y abrasión que actualmente no tiene comparación entre los recubrimientos para armas de fuego.
El Nanoweapon se aplica a bajas temperaturas, lo que garantiza que la metalurgia subyacente de la pieza no se vea afectada por el proceso de aplicación. Además, el recubrimiento de Geissele tiene una dureza superficial aproximadamente equivalente al diamante sintético, lo que lo hace más duro que la arena, rechazando fácilmente el carbono y facilitando la limpieza, mientras permite que el arma funcione normalmente con menos lubricación.
