The S15 magazine is a patent-pending, flush-fitting 15 round magazine for the Glock® 43X and Glock® 48. The S15 is a steel magazine, and is the same length as the OEM Glock® 10 round magazine, but holds an additional 5 rounds. Increased Capacity, Same Reliability What changed with the gen 3 magazine? We made the following improvements: New US-based manufacturer Modular tooling, allowing us to make the S15 and S10 magazines simultaneously Raised ribs on the back of the magazine allows us to fully match the OEM magazine position in the mag well, which should eliminate any tolerance stacking that results from Glock frame variations New steel, new coating, new heat treat process - our new steel is slightly thicker, tougher, and now comes with a new standard black nitrocarburized QPQ finish for a high degree of corrosion resistance. Mag Catch Requirement It is required to swap out your plastic OEM mag catch with either our standard steel mag catch or our premium steel mag catch. Here's why. If you don't swap your mag catch you may have reliability issues. If you use another manufacturer's mag catch you may have reliability issues. S15 magazines were designed to work with Shield Arms steel mag catches. ¿Qué ha cambiado con el cargador de la generación 3? Hemos realizado las siguientes mejoras:
- Nuevo fabricante basado en EE. UU.
- Herramientas modulares, lo que nos permite fabricar los cargadores S15 y S10 simultáneamente.
- Costillas elevadas en la parte posterior del cargador que permiten igualar completamente la posición del cargador OEM en el mag well, eliminando cualquier problema de tolerancia que resulte de las variaciones del marco de Glock.
- Nuevo acero, nuevo recubrimiento, nuevo proceso de tratamiento térmico: nuestro nuevo acero es ligeramente más grueso, más resistente y ahora cuenta con un nuevo acabado negro nitrocarburizado QPQ que ofrece un alto grado de resistencia a la corrosión.
Requisito del Mag Catch
Es necesario cambiar tu mag catch de plástico OEM por nuestro mag catch de acero estándar o nuestro mag catch de acero premium. Aquí está el porqué:
- Si no cambias tu mag catch, podrías tener problemas de fiabilidad.
- Si usas un mag catch de otro fabricante, también podrías enfrentar problemas de fiabilidad.
Los cargadores S15 han sido diseñados para funcionar con los mag catches de acero de Shield Arms.
