EGW Savage bases will work with any long action flat back Savage rifle with an ejection port. It is also compatible with the Stevens Long actions. The flat back on this mount will accommodate receivers with flat rears, and guns that do not have an accu-trigger. Savages with an accu-trigger will require our round back mount (listed separately). This mount comes standard with a bevel on both sides making it ambidextrous. EGW recommends measuring the hole spacing in your receiver to confirm it matches with the dimensions they have published. Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. EGW one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike. EGW machines these in their shop using one of their machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type III anodized for long lasting durability. Installation: EGW recommends 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is sold separately). Recommend: 0 MOA - if shooting 0-500 yards 20 MOA - if shooting 500-1000 yards When zeroing your rifle with a 20 MOA mount, EGW recommends zeroing at 200 yards. La montura SAVAGE LONG ACTION FLAT BACK HD PICATINNY SCOPE MOUNT de EGW es la opción ideal para tu rifle Savage de acción larga con puerto de eyección. Compatible también con las acciones largas Stevens, esta base es perfecta para rifles que no cuentan con el sistema de disparo Accu-Trigger.

Instalación y recomendaciones:
EGW recomienda aplicar un torque de 20 pulgadas-libras y una gota de Loctite azul (se vende por separado). Para el uso de la montura de 0 MOA, es ideal si disparas entre 0 y 500 yardas, mientras que la de 20 MOA es recomendada para distancias de 500 a 1000 yardas.
